Do you need to use the same branded lamp as the gel polish?
Yes, all ranges of gel, including hard , soft and hybrid gels require manufacturers lamps. This is because the products are designed to work with that specific lamp. This is due to the correct intensity, time of cure and wavelengths. If you don't use the recommended lamp this could lead to an improper cure and could result in under curing or over curing the product. If under curing allergies could occur, if over curing the product this could lead to burning of the nail bed.
These products are scientifically tested to ensure the proper cure with the lamp.
How do you choose the correct brand for you?
There are many different brands on the market and each offers different results. A good choice of high pigment colours, longevity, matching lamp and products. You have to find the one that works for you, but please remember the product will not cure correctly without the specific lamp!
Will my insurance become void if I don't have the matching brand?
This all falls down to your insurer. If the manufactures instructions say they require the matching lamp and products, there is a very good chance your insurance will be void if someone does claim for whatever reason.
